This beautiful loop route takes you to visit the Pozzo di monte Frontal, a cave listed in the Catasto Nazionale delle Grotte d’Italia (4174 V BL), explored and mapped by the Feltre C.A.I.. Park at the Melere area and enter the beautiful beech and fir forest. You will come across the Pozzo di monte Frontal (Frontal Mountain Well) and along the route there is also a second cavern, the “Grotta del monte Frontal” (4173 V BL). The area is predominantly karstic and it is not uncommon to come across these fascinating formations.
