Are you looking for an easy and relaxing walk to do with your little ones between art and nature? The Rimonta lakes are just the thing for you! Leave your car at the sports field in Lentiai, head towards Bardies and walk along the right bank of the Rimonta stream. You will find yourself in a perfect environment for observing wild animals: birds, amphibians, reptiles and insects but also, if you are lucky, large mammals such as deers and roe deers that come here to enjoy the fresh water.
Wander through the meadows, woods and ponds in any season, observe the magnificent biodiversity of trees, shrubs and flowers and have fun discovering and photographing all the beautiful works and installations by local artists that are perfectly integrated into their surroundings. To end on a high note, don’t miss a look at the restored ‘calchera’ used for lime production. Before returning to your car, let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the newly restored frescoes in the 14th-century church of Bardies by Giovanni and Marco da Mel and by Cesare Vecellio.
