Dreaming about an easy and relaxing walk through art and nature where you can bring your children? This path is for you!
Leave your car at Lentiai’s sports field, go towards Bardies and walk along the right bank of the Rimonta stream.
You will end up in a fascinating landscape where you can observe wild animals like birds, amphibians, reptiles and insects but also large mammals like deers and roe deers that come here to drink fresh water.
Explore this path in every season and observe the extraordinary biodiversity of trees, shrubs and flowers. Moreover, in these woods you can discover beautiful art works and installations made by local artists who have perfectly integrated them with the surrounding landscape.
Another place to visit is the antique “calchera”, a restored structure that was used for the production of limestone. The best way to conclude this journey is definitely a visit to the frescoes of the fourteenth-century church of Bardies made by Giovanni and Marco from Mel and Cesare Vecellio.
