N.2310
Praderadego - Canidi - Boz - Val d'Arc

Description
of the path

The tring trail that will lead you to the iconic l’Olt of Val d’Arc.

Park your car at the beautiful pass of Praderadego and start your itinerary along the blueberries’ path. At the peak of Canidi you will admire all the peaks and the ridges up to Posa Puner and Malga Garda and beyond up to Mount Tomatico overlooking Feltre and the Grappa massif.

Continue along the route of the ridges among green and wonderful pastures while you’re watching the tops of Feltre.

The sharp deviation to the right that descends steeply to the Boz, takes you to observe the Belluno valley from a different perspective, with the Dolomites on the horizon, your gaze sweeps up to Belluno. A little break at Boz and then proceed on the way that will lead you to Val d’Arch where, at the end of it, the path climbs steeply through the woods.

The climb is worth it, l’Olt de Val d’Arch, an enormous limestone arch that marks the border between the former Municipality of Mel and Miane where you can take the usual and suggestive selfies. Go up the steep slope in the beech forest and arrive at the road of the ridges to go back towards Malga Canidi and continue on the blueberries’ path to the parking lot.
