The characteristic hamlet of Cordellon is the starting point of this long but suggestive loop. Before starting on the way up, let yourself be enraptured by the charm of this once densely populated and now almost uninhabited little village. Climb up the little road that will take you towards Foral and enter among meadows and beech trees. Between one hairpin bend and another, listen to the sounds of wild animals: in autumn, if you are lucky, you can hear the mighty roaring of deers. When you reach Foral, the view finally opens up over the Valbelluna. Admire the beautiful meadows and pastures all around you, which are still manicured and mowed.
The little road becomes a path that leads almost to the top of the mountain and enters a fir forest. At its edge, as in a Grimm brothers’ fairy tale, the clearing where Casera Beta stands will open up, with its intertwined legends and true stories whispered by the elders to scare the children. Admire the view of Val Fontane to the right and Val Mola and Val d’Arc to the left. From here, descend towards Val Mola on the steep path through the beech trees until you return to the main road that cuts through the valley, once an important connection route to the alpine pastures, which will take you back to Cordellon.
